Small Town Magic. Big Screen Moments.
About Movie In The Park
Movie In The Park is a free, family-friendly outdoor film screening series that can be hosted anywhere in the Golden Isles region and beyond. Hosted by the Golden Isles Film Society, these evenings bring neighbors and families together to enjoy timeless classics, indie gems, and crowd favorites in a relaxed, picnic-style setting.
Who Attends?
Families, couples, and cinephiles of all ages; community-minded locals and visitors from near and far. Attendance typically ranges from about 100 to 250+ people, varying with venue, location, and weather.
Support community access to visual arts
Sponsorship helps keep events free, removing economic barriers so families, students, and seniors can enjoy quality films and communal experiences outdoors.
Why Sponsor?
Sponsoring a Movie in the Park event offers clear, practical benefits for businesses, organizations, and individuals while directly supporting community access to the arts.
Key reasons to sponsor include:
Flexible Sponsorship Packages
Packages can be tailored to meet different goals and budgets.
This includes logo placement and on-site activation to on-screen and verbal recognition and ads to show prior to the start of the film, ultimately allowing you to choose the level of visibility and engagement that works for you.
Targeted local exposure
Our events attract neighborhood residents, visitors, and media.
Your name and logo can be displayed on event signage, programs, and announcements, reaching an engaged, location-specific audience that’s hard to match with broad advertising.
Community Impact
Sponsorship funding supports A/V logistics, licensing, equipment rental, accessibility services, and programming.
You can point to concrete outcomes that include attendance numbers, demographic reach, and community feedback when assessing return on investment or reporting to stakeholders.
Networking & relationship building
Sponsors get unique opportunities to connect with city leaders, arts organizations, other sponsors, and community influencers in an informal, positive setting.
Long-term Community Investment
Regular sponsorship helps sustain ongoing arts programming, contributes to cultural vibrancy, and can play a role in local economic development by drawing visitors and supporting nearby businesses.
